Pedro Vicario

On the 21st of December 1983, in the city of Malaga, Spain Pedro Vicario was born. An extrovert, restless, perfectionist and passionate for electronic music. Being exposed to Breakbeats, the forerunner of modern day electronic music, Pedro had his first encounters with electronic music in the nightclubs of Andalucía, Spain.

Slowly, with the rise of techno, minimal and, (somewhat later,) tech-house, Pedro began defining his tastes and musical style, basing them on some of the more underground sounds of the scene. Some of his big influences are: Cocoon Ibiza, DC10 and the likes, as well as artists such as Villalobos, Raresh, Loco Dice, Livio & Roby and Marco Carola. Pedro’s sound can be described as a mix of strong techno sounds combined with delicate atmospherics, all the while holding a groove which will not let you stop dancing all throughout his sets.

After several years of learning the ropes and considering DJ-ing a hobby, Pedro decided to take things to the next level. 2010 marking the year where he began making his mark in the scene, forming “Kalima Music”, a collective of likeminded friends and electronic music enthusiasts: Jagaru, Sergav, Ignacio Morales and Ángel Meana. It was this year when Pedro established his residency in Ibiza, when he decided to make electronic music his professional life.

Pedro is a familiar face throughout the island of Ibiza, having played what seems like all over the island’s parties, as well as around Europe: Elrow (Privilege Ibiza),The Pharm (Privilege Ibiza), Novum (Ibiza), Lips (Ibiza), Karbon Club (Oxford), White Club (Ibiza), Pearl (Ocean Beach Ibiza), Hotel Es Vive (Ibiza), Baraka Café (Ibiza), Niza Dance Club (Málaga),Supreme Niza (Málaga) Sala Mangos (Málaga).

CROWD CONTROLOL (pronounced crowd control) is the main recording and performance identity of Anthony Salce, a Miami-based artist who’s made an early mark on the international electronic music scene at the early age of 25. With over 20 years of classical training on the violin, his style in electronic music has evolved and expanded at a disciplined rate, developing from early connotations of groovy tech house to sonic experiments in minimal techno and ambient electronica.

Less than a year into producing electronically, Crowd Controlol’s 3-track debut EP “Lolwut” with AudioGroove Records was charted at number 6 in tech house releases on Beatport, putting him on the map for many large scale performers and industry advocates worldwide. Since then, he’s released tracks on major labels such as Ritmik Records, SK Supreme Records, Beatdown Music, and Strange World. 2014 is playing host to his biggest year of original tracks yet, with releases secured on Draft LTD, ONOFF Recording, and several other imprints to be revealed from around the world.

In 2012, Crowd Controlol began a residency at a bimonthly party known as One Night in Miami Afterhours, held Fridays on The Terrace at Club Space. Anthony was known for his notoriously dark and provocative sound that inspired even younger crowds to appreciate the more sophisticated and intricate elements of techno music in production and live performance. These sets inspired a greater appreciation for more artistic and alternative electronic styles for many in South Florida, encouraging the musical tastes of his peers to steer away from streamlined commercialism and appreciate alternatives in electronic music.

Beginning his travels to Ibiza, Spain in the summer of 2013 and joining forces with Richie Hawtin and the ENTER. team in Publc Relations, Anthony continued to develop his sound as Crowd Controlol while maintaining an innovative and forward thinking approach to artistry. Upon forging new relationships and discovering new music overseas, the experience has become an integral part of Anthony’s development both as an artist and industry advocate.

Recently returning from an inspired 2014 Ibiza season, Anthony is committed to a focused development of his sound in both daily production and live performances. Regardless of whether you are a longtime follower of electronic music, casual supporter, or even a first-time listener, this artist’s tracks and live DJ sets pledge a unique underground experience that continues to evolve at an and ambitious rate.

SpinnZinn is currently logging hours in the studio working on new music, pulling on the inspiration and lessons learnt spending the summer hanging out with Richie Hawtin’s ENTER crew. SpinnZinn’s music is described by his fans as dark, intelligent techno, fueled by groovy percussion and driving melodies that take people on a musical journey. Music that is filled with a sort of mathematical precision as he intertwines loops and vocal samples to produce unique moments in time.  After working with several labels around the world, including Club 66, Casa Do Conde, and Jyre Records SpinnZinn has teamed up with long time partners SanedracHunter to create Typ3 Records. Not only is SpinnZinn a co-founder and artist on the label, but he is also their exclusive Mastering Engineer. You can also find his exclusive mastering work on Osmosis Audio and Richie Hawtin’s ENTER Season 2014.

SpinnZinn’s latest original can be found on Jyre Records – Volume (Original Mix), a high energy track which has your mind flying through the sky while a thick heavy bass line keeps your feet moving.

Summer 2014 saw SpinnZinn make his way to the White Isle, Ibiza, where his sound was well received at Lips for Locomotion’s Ibiza Take Over, playing alongside Reelow and Miami Djs Samson and CrowdControlol,  Room 19’s closing party, and at the Delano. Some of his favorite clubs to play while touring have been TanzHaus West in Frankfurt Germany, TBA in Brooklyn, and Suite B in Orlando Fl. The Loft – Club Space Miami, Treehouse, and Mansion are his hometown favorites in Miami. He is also a regular performer (2010-2014) at the world-renowned Ultra Music festival.

You can also catch his sets on SpinnZinn’s radio show Bassment Sessions. After a 6 year run on WVUM 90.5FM, Bassment Sessions has moved to its new home on Klangbox.fm, where it is broadcasted worldwide over the Internet, reaching a wider audience. Bassment Sessions continues to air every Thursday, now from 9-11pm.
